The Demise of Poetry
Day by day the importance of poetry is slowly decreasing in the current generation. People are unaware of the fact that we are losing a highly relevant form of art. For some people, it might just be a way to spend their leisure. But to others, it’s a way of expressing themselves to the world. Poetry is the language beyond language. It is a language of reason, hope, fantasy, dreams and so on. But most importantly it’s a language through which people can their feeling in the most artistic way.
For me personally, poetry has always been the way of connecting with the world. Every story I tell is through remorseless poetry. I explore the world and find the words to rhyme with the stories at hand. Some think it’s highly unnecessary while others find it strongly appealing. I just need a topic to turn into poetry.
The problem here is that the people who support it are lower in number than the people who are against it to even begin with.
That’s why I have taken on a quest to return the relevance of poetry.
Whether I will succeed or not is still unknown. But I really want people to enjoy poetry again and to appreciate this form of art. In other words, I’m trying to revive a genre that has somewhat died out.
Now I want to ask you something. Is poetry even relevant anymore?
This is my way of connecting with the world, I don't want anyone to take it away from me.
